HGV2 Driver

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary contract

Salary: £14.00 per hour

· Up to 10 hour days

They are looking for flexible qualified drivers to deliver palletized metals with a Class 2 vehicle. Loads will be taken on the vehicle by a forklift.

The Criteria & Benefits:

· Cat C/HGV 2/ LGV 2 Entitlement

· CPC Qualification

· Valid UK Licence

· Digi Card (required)

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Chepstow, Monmouthshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• HGV 2 Driving: 6 months (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Driver CPC (required)

Work Location: In person- Safely operate a variety of vehicles including paratransit vans, tractor-trailers, buses, and commercial vehicles.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely and efficient transportation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any mechanical issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and deliveries.

Skills:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
